1942.10.26: enroute Kotka - Oskarshamn with pyrite cargo torpedoed by Sovjet submarine SHCH-307 off Nyhamn LH in psn 59.54N 19.45E. Twelve crewmembers were saved by escort ships. Eleven crewmembers were killed: Master Ruben Ceder, III engineer Eero Koskinen, AB Esko Honkavuori, AB Albin Laitinen, deckboy Åke Juselius, stoker Arvo Engström, stoker Erik Sjögren, trimmer Väinö Sorjonen, stewardess Margareta Petterson, cook Matilda Karlsson, messgirl Taimi Jalonen. On the very same evening Finnish Navy submarine IKU-TURSO gunfired and torpedoed the Sovjet submarine.
