1988: RECIFE, Argonaut Shipping, Panama (a company of South African Marine Corp. SAFMARINE, Capetown). 1991.9.7: At sea on U.S. east coast, one container exploded on deck. The resulting fire was soon extinguished by the crew. 1996: NTABENI, same owners. Holds were converted to carry also molten chip, "tar", SAFMARINE became later controlled by Restis Group of Greece.
