1935: WINHA, homeport Brändön huvilakaupunki. O/Y Winha (Antti Wihuri, Eteläranta 8) Helsinki.
1941.7.9: UK Ministry of War Transport captured at Glasgow(?). The WINHA was enroute Salaverry, Peru - Petsamo with sugar cargo. In New York the ship loaded gasoline barrels on deck and almost all the crew run away. Ship left New York 18th May for Petsamo. British Navy forced to proceed to Kirkwall and in September to Glasgow. (Interview of master Ossi Barck, Finnish weekly magazine Seura 1961: 1942.1.8: In Ellesmereport the master Barck was ordered to leave the ship and interned to Man Isle.)
The new managers were Raeburn & Verel, Glasgow. 1944: managers J & J. Denholm.
1944.6.9: WINHA, scuttled at Normandy to form a breakwater for Mulberry Harbour. After the war raised and towed to Troon for demolition.
