1917.4.13: enroute Kirkkoniemi (or Port Romanoff/Murmansk) - Middlesbrough loaded with iron ore torpedoed by German submarine U-30 60 nm east of Lerwick in psn 60.04N 00.45E. 1st officer Robert William Lindström was saved by lifeboat of Norwegian ss BOKN that was sunk by U-30 earlier. 19 crewmembers were killed (another source 20 killed).
