1935.4: SHINKUANG, Shanghai, flag the Red Ensign. Shaw Shing SS Co (George L.Shaw), Foochow, China. Delivery in Shanghai with wheat cargo from France. 1942.4.6: enroute Calcutta - Madras gunfired and sunk by Japanese cruisers KUNANO, SUZUYA, SHIRAKUMO. Three hands were killed. In the same convoy sank five British ships, one Norwegian tanker, one U.S. ship.
