1933: AURA, Rederiaktiebolaget Atlanta (Krogius), Helsinki. Previously Finland - South America Line ships were chartered from the partner companies. 1933.11.9: New shipping company Rederiaktiebolaget Atlanta – Laivanvarustaja Osakeyhtiö Atlanta was founded  by partners Ab Finland-Amerika Linjen and Bore, both having 33 % of the shares, Oceanfart and Orient both having 17 % of the shares. The first ship of the new shipping company was the AURA. Since then all the ship names started and ended with letter A. 1944.8.3: Collision off Hanko. Repaired in Turku until August 1946. 1949.12.12: AURA, Ab Caledonia Steamship Co Oy. (C. Olsen, Helsinki, Fabianink. 6). Carl Olsen acquired for Oy Finland - Afrika & Australia Line Ltd Ab trade. The shipping line was started by Henry Nielsen and O.S.Nylund. 1948. When O.S.Nylund withdrew Olsen continued. The line was finished after five voyages to South Africa.
