Suomen Höyrylaiva Oy - Finska Ångfartygs Ab Helsinki. 1959.11.16: While leaving Copenhagen, the torpedo boat tender HJÆLPEREN for unknown reasons blocked the entrance to the harbor, causing a collision with the Finnish freighter CERES. Great material damage, but no personal injuries. 1973.10.10: enroute Kemi - Rostock loaded with paper and on deck cellulose in gale heavy list. Sunk 45 nm NW of Mäntyluoto in psn 62.04N 20.09.30E. West-German SEEBERG saved 18 sailors to Mäntyluoto. The master Björn Hamberg was lost with the ship.
