1937.1.12: JOHANNA THORDÉN, enroute Baltimore - New York - Göteborg loaded with cars, general cargo and copper in heavy storm wrecked off Isle Of Swona, Pentland Firth. The ship broke in two. Onboard were 38 of crew and passengers (two women and two children) and only 8 crewmembers stayed alive.
