1927.3.28: NINA, homeport Lovisa. Lovisa Ångfartygs Ab, Lovisa. Price 10 000 £. Delivery at Hull. Named after the shipowner's spouse. 1935.6.25: SUOMI-18 in the Finnish fishing register. 1940.1: requisitioned by Finnish Government for military transportation. At Bizerte, Tunis loaded four 12" ship guns and 130 mm guns (originally from Russian battleship GENERAL ALEKSIEJEW) for Finland (also KARL-ERIK and JULIETTE loaded guns). 1940.4.10.Germans captured at Bergen. 130 mm guns were unloaded in Norway.  German crew sailed ship to Kiel. 305 mm guns were discharged in Germany and later used at Guernsey island. 1940.10: the NINA arrived at Luleå from Hamburg. War time trading Baltic Sea.
1963.7.7: NINA, arrived at Helsinki from Copenhagen, demolished, Helsingin Romuliike. The oldest coal steamer in Nordic Countries.
