Rederiaktiebolaget Anneberg was founded by captain Arthur Ekbom (1880 - 1941). He was followed by captain Uno Adolfsson.

Ministry of War Transport, London (mgrs James Gardiner & Co., Greenock) 1942.8.8: enroute Sheet Harbour and Sydney NS - Ellesmere Port with woodpulp cargo in convoy SC94 torpedoed by German submarine U-379 ESE of Cape Farewell in psn 56.30N 32.14W. The crew of 38 were rescued. ANNEBERG was sunk by escorting HMCS BATTLEFORD. Also the U-379 was sunk.
